We always work with seasonal anchovies fished off Getaria. In addition to using locally-sourced anchovies, our success lies in the 100% artisanal process we use for their preparation. We catch, fillet, grind, mature in barrels and package the fish using traditional techniques. The result: artisanal anchovies of the very finest quality.
Cantabrian anchovies are found in the Bay of Biscay. Every season we elaborate more than 20,000 kilos of top quality canned anchovies which you can find in our Getaria shop or, if you prefer, in our online shop (only available in Spain). We also have a network of distributors in Europe and the U.K. Please contact us if you would like to know more about our distributors.

Eating anchovies provides folic acid, which is an essential part of a mother's diet during pregnancy. And we must not forget the high protein content, which helps throughout the entire course of pregnancy.

While anchovies are mainly prepared with salt, white anchovies are prepared in vinegar. This means that, even though they come from the same species, the main difference is how they are made. if you still have questions, please visit our section on white anchovies to learn more details about their nutritional value, how they are prepared, where they are from, and more.
